Series Land Rover SWB 88” In Narvik Grey

THE RESTORATION:
This 1980 Series III has undergone a nut and bolt restoration, fitted with a 2. 5L petrol engine and taken back to bare metal before being professionally painted in Narvik Grey. All components have been removed, restored or replaced by either stainless steel fittings, zinc plating or galvanising.

Mechanical:
This car still sits on a new galvanised chassis, rebuilt gearbox and a rare 2. 5L Petrol engine with unleaded and E10 compliant conversion.
Axles had been fully stripped and refurbished renewing all bearings and brake components.
Steering relay was renewed along with all steering joints and the steering box/ column rebuilt.
Gear/ transfer box was also stripped and overhauled.
New exhaust
Suspension has been replaced with new parabolic springs, comfort poly-bushes and shock absorbers.

 

Exterior:
Professional bare metal respray on deconstructed components.
The car sits on new 235 85 R16 tyres with sandblasted and painted black original wheels
Each nut and bolt has been replaced, or zinc plated.
New Black Exmor Trim Canvas
Vintage silver on black number plates

Interior:
Deluxe Exmoor Trim drivers and passenger seats with new two-person rear bench seats with powder coated frames
Matching black cubby box
Upper and lower dash re-trim
Rear rubber matt
Gauges individually rebuilt and serviced
Wiring loom was replaced with a supplied loom from Autosparks.

Original steering wheel with a hand stitched leather trim
